Yoko Ono said this in 1967 and in 1968 she told Rolling Stone that her idea would probably not be accomplished for another 50 or 100 years . . .She was close . . . 45 years later, with the help of her #smilesfilm app Yoko Ono’s VISION is now a REALITY. . .
Can you imagine? Yoko Ono fascinates me and when I first saw her video for #smilesfilm I was thrilled to be a part of it. I took my photo and tweeted it using the hashtag #smilesfilm. I’ve since then entered another one with my mom, both of us smiling. . . I think the idea is a great one but what really, really blows my mind is Yoko’s vision . . . In 1967, what she said must have sounded like just another crazy idea, something that was most likely never to be . . . and here we are. . . LOVE THAT!!!

This is inspiring to me in many ways. I love the idea of smiling and getting people from all over the world to smile and send that energy forth into the Universe. Wow! Then, I love the entire creative vision behind it. I love that what was just a seemingly impossible dream back in 1967 is something that’s HERE and NOW. . . the THOUGHT has become REALITY . . . the thought CREATED reality . . . the DREAM has MANIFESTED. . . This is all right up my alley . . .
And finally, Yoko herself is my biggest inspiration. . . Here she is, still working, still interested, still putting forth positive and loving energy into the world . . . and she’s only 79 years young. . . SEVENTY-NINE!!! Yes!! Yes!!! Yes!!!! I LOVE IT!!

It is my intention to continue to be interested in life and in my work, whatever that work mutates into . . . It is my intention to believe that anything and everything is possible and what seems like a dream today, is most definitely TOMORROW’S REALITY!!
