DAILY ♥ REMINDER 6/16/12: A Year of L ♥ V E

Be kind, compassionate, forgiving and loving. . . LOVE YOURSELF.
This was my very first reminder sent as a tweet back on June 16th, 2011. . . I had the urge to write myself a little something to remind me to send a little love my way . . . I sent it out and began to do it every day after that . . . Then I started posting them on Facebook on June 25th . . . then on my own website . . . until in January of this year, they were featured on this new site and I began to have people subscribe to them . . .
I can’t believe that it’s been an entire year of reminders . . . every single day except the day the internet went dark!

- Approximately 128,000 words
- One main theme: LOVE YOURSELF
Looking at that number, 128,000, is mind boggling . . . I didn’t think I had it in me! 
So, here we are . . . one year later . . . and that main theme is still so important. . . I’m still working on it on a day to day basis. . . I’m still DOing the work of taking care of myself and making sure that I give myself the things I need in order to thrive . . . Yup . . . I’m still working on everything . . . but I’m soooo much better at it than I was a year ago . . .
Admitting how much I love myself doesn’t cause me any embarrassment or fear of what someone will think of me. My time in the mirror telling myself wonderful things is something I look forward to in the mornings. . . I know that I deserve the best that life has to offer and that life won’t make the offer unless I ask for it, believe in it and expect it to manifest . . .
One year later I not only love myself more but I love everyone around me even more . . . from my partner Jhon to every single friend I know all the way down to strangers on the street. . . I sometimes look at someone on the subway or the bus and notice how they’re reading their book or simply sitting and waiting for their stop to come up and I see myself in them . . . I almost start to cry from the recognition . . . We are ONE and the SAME. . .That’s a new kind of love I never felt before . . .
The love I give to myself has been overflowing . . . the rest of the world receives the benefits of that abundance. . . And one year later, it is my intention to continue to remind myself of why I’m here . . . that I’m on a great journey . . . that LOVE IS THE LAW . . . that I must LOVE myself with all I’ve got . . . I love me and I love YOU . . . Thank you to all my D♥R readers for joining me on this ride . . . the love wave has only just begun . . . LOVE who you are because YOU MATTER . . . Don’t you ever forget it . . .
