DAILY ♥ REMINDER 4/19/12: Let the tears flow . . .
Let your tears come. Let them water your soul. ~ Eileen Mayhew
I’ve never been ashamed of crying . . . I think it’s one of the most beautifully cleansing actions when it happens authentically . . . I did a bit of crying yesterday . . . I guess my soul needed the release . . .
Whenever it happens like it did yesterday, sort of out of the blue, I just let them flow . . . no holding back . . .
The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears. ~ John Vance Cheney
I know many people that either don’t allow themselves to cry or they say they simply just can’t do it . . . which I think it’s actually tied to the “allowing” part . . . But, for me at least, there are times when it’s simply necessary to cry . . . to let the tears flow down my cheeks and allow them to do whatever healing they are here to do . . .
Yesterday was one of those days where the drastic difference between my two lives was quite evident . . . I did my very best to shift the focus to the life that brings me the most joy and for the most part, I was successful. . . My crying felt like a mix of releasing the past and saying good bye to the familiar, while at the same time, ushering the new and exciting . . . and the unknown . . .
Let your tears flow and where they go, let your sorrows follow. ~ Dodinsky
It is my intention to continue to be true to myself and my feelings . . . I cannot know joy without experiencing some sorrow . . . Every emotion and every experience is a miraculous opportunity to live . . . and to experience LIFE . . . in this body . . . at this time . . . LOVE who you are . . .
LOVE YOURSELF.
